Prophecy of this watches’s future I really do want it to do well. I want the Nell Newman charity to get maximum proceeds from the sale. I want Phillips Auctions and Aurel Bacs/Paul Boutros to make serious bank on this, too. But The hype around this watch will subside. Nomos is making fun, new dials Nomos Glashuette has really been outdoing themselves lately. Lots of new dial colors and finishes, with the newest being their At Work series with the silvercut finish. Arguably the best hip-hop artist of the last 15 Years is wearing a yellow gold watch on Saturday Night Live. What the hell is it? Jay-Z has worked with watch companies in the past (Hublot!) so I think it’s somewhat safe to say he’s a watch guy. This first set of pictures are from his second song. I love Richard Mille, the man. He doesn’t miss a beat when discussing his watches that cost more than most people’s houses in this CNBC interview. His watches are eh, ok. The Nadal/Bolt models are their best and unfortunately by far the most expensive. The guy uses such exotic materials and processes that help make them more expensive than precious metals.
